Born Learning
Everyday life is a learning experience for children. Born Learning is a public engagement campaign that helps parents, grandparents and caregivers explore ways to turn everyday moments into fun learning opportunities.  You can find help here (about ways to foster learning), along with more information like downloadable tips and tools.”

Creative Curriculum
Creative Curriculum helps early childhood professionals manage assessment, plan the curriculum, and collaborate with parents. ParentsCentral, an area on CreativeCurriculum.net, is designed specifically for parents, and provides them with a look at their child's ongoing development and classroom activities.  Both Head Start and Early Head Start utilize the Creative Curriculum. Parents can view their child’s electronic portfolio; just talk to your child’s teacher about obtaining a password.

Bureau of Child Care - Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA)
The mission of the Bureau of Child Care is to provide all parents with informed child care choices that promote their children's health, safety and future success in school.

Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children (IAEYC)
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8.

Monroe County Smart Start
This Birth-to-five coalition is working together to create a community where children are ready for school and ready for life!  The group's vision is for all children in Monroe County to enter school with the skills and attributes they need to be successful, nurtured by families sensitive to their needs and supported by a community committed to helping children reach their full potential.

National Head Start Association
The National Head Start Association is a private not-for-profit membership organization dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of Head Start children and their families. It represents more than 1 million children, 200,000 staff and 2,600 Head Start programs in the United States. The Association provides support for the entire Head Start community by advocating for policies that strengthen services to Head Start children and their families; by providing extensive training and professional development to Head Start staff; and by developing and disseminating research, information, and resources that enrich Head Start program delivery.

Prevent Child Abuse, Indiana
As a Division of The Villages, Prevent Child Abuse Indiana serves as a catalyst for preventing child abuse in all its forms and thereby enhancing the quality of life for children and families in Indiana.  The vision of Prevent Child Abuse Indiana is to live in a state where children flourish, free from abuse and neglect. Therefore, child abuse and neglect should be prevented before the pain has been inflicted.
