Greenhouse Groundbreaking Oct. 30, 10 a.m.

You are cordially invited to join Todd Lare, SCCAP Executive Director, and our project team for a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the kick-off of our greenhouse building project. Speakers will include top officials from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, the City of Bloomington, and Stone Belt.

Growing Opportunities is a new social business project of the South Central Community Action Program. Our goal is to provide job opportunities for people with barriers to employment through a self-sustaining commercial greenhouse business.

TIME: 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014.

LOCATION: The event will take place behind Stone Belt's main building at 2815 E 10th St, Bloomington, IN 47408. Just walk to the back, and we will greet you there. There is no need to go inside the Stone Belt building.

PARKING: SCCAP has arranged for attendees to use the overflow parking area of Hinkle-Garton Farmstead. Going east on 10th, there is a drive cut just east of where the fence stops. A map is provided below. Please use caution when crossing 10th street to get to the ceremony.

Questions may be directed to Growing Opportunities Project Manager Nicole Wooten at nicole@insccap.org.
