Outreach and Enrollment Specialist

We are currently looking for an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist.

The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist primary role is to help ensure that every individual in Indiana has access to healthcare coverage through federal and state insurance coverage programs. The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist works with all SCCAP programs and coalition partners to identify and enroll uninsured individuals, children and their families into viable state and local health care assistance programs. In addition, the Outreach and Enrollment Specialist helps build and oversees the local Covering Kids and Families coalition of healthcare partners, faith-based organizations, schools, state agencies, and funders with in Monroe, Brown, and Owen.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

Custodian

We are currently looking for a Custodian to work second shift, 3 to 11pm.

The Custodian performs a variety of tasks related to maintaining the cleanliness of buildings and exterior areas. In addition, the Custodian is also responsible for light building maintenance and grounds keeping.

Finance Specialist

We are currently looking for a Finance Specialist

The Finance Specialist provides accounting support for all functions within the Finance department. This position is responsible for assisting with the Agency wide payroll and payroll taxes; accounts payable and receivable; bank reconciliations; and preparing claim reports for all grants.

Energy Assistant Caseworker

We are currently looking for several Energy Assistance Caseworkers.

An Energy Assistance Caseworker performs a variety of duties, including conducting intakes to determine eligibility for the Energy Assistance Program and providing appropriate outreach, referral and advocacy to clients. This is a temporary full-time position for approximately six months, starting September 09, 2018.

Weatherization Auditor

We are currently seeking a Weatherization Auditor.

The Weatherization Auditor is responsible for supervising the rehabilitation and weatherization of homes in low-income housing and being the quality control inspector of weatherization home projects. Ensures all clients and the work performed are in compliance with all Federal, State and Agency regulations and guidelines pertaining to weatherization program.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; supplemented by three to five years previous experience in carpentry, construction, contracting, home rehabilitation, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Working knowledge of natural gas, LP gas, fuel oil, and electric heating systems and of all codes applicable to HVAC system and installations.

Bus Driver

We are currently seeking a Bus Driver.

The Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting children to and from school, health screenings, and field trips. SCCAP will provide training necessary to an individual to obtain the CDL driver’s license with a Passenger and School Bus endorsement.

Requirements: Be able to obtain a CDL driver’s license with a Passenger and School Bus endorsement. Must have a safe driving record for the past three years. Must be a minimum of 21 years old.

The Lead Teacher plans and implements weekly and ongoing developmentally appropriate plans for a group of infants to toddlers with individualized considerations for each child in a classroom setting. Additionally, this position acts as a resource, advisor, and advocate for the parents in the areas of child development, health, education, and community resources.

Requirements: Early Childhood Education Associate Degree, Early Childhood Education B.A./B.S. or a Bachelor’s or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education.
