Thriving Connections Coach

We are currently looking for a Thriving Connections Coach.

Under the supervision of the Thriving Connections Coordinator, the Thriving Connections Coach primary role is to "coach" or support relationships created across economic class and race lines, matching people of low-income with middle or upper income Allies. The Thriving Connections Coach is responsible for contributing to efforts to engage the community, and specifically supports Thriving Connections Guiding Coalition, assisting them in recruiting, training, and supporting Captains and Allies.


Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field plus one to two years relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Skilled in the use of computers for email, creation, and manipulation of databases, and Microsoft Office.

Site Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Site Coordinator.

Under the supervision of the Education Coordinator, the Site Coordinator is responsile for the physical and emotional well-being of children by utilizing proper early childhood developmentally appropriate practices and techniques. This position is responsible for staff supervision and involvement of parents in the educational programs at assigned Head Start classroom sites, while overseeing and organizing the day-to-day operations of assigned sites.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or an advance degree in Early Childhood Education; or a Bachelor's or advanced degree and
coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education. Experience teaching preschool-age children and infant/toddler care or equivalent combination of training, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Skilled in the use of computers for email creation, and manipulation of databases, and Microsoft Office.

Outreach and enrollment specialist

We are currently looking for an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist.

The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist's primary role is to help ensure that every individual in Indiana has access to healthcare coverage through federal and state insurance coverage programs. The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist works with all SCCAP programs and coalition partners to identify and enroll uninsured individuals, children, and their families into viable state and local health care assistance programs. In addition, the Outreach and Enrollment Specialist helps build and oversees the local Covering Kids and Families coalition of healthcare partners, faith-based organizations, schools, state agencies, and funders with in Monroe, Brown, and Owen counties.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Skilled in the use of computers for email, creation, and manipulation of databases, and Microsoft Office. Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within 60 days of hiring. Obtains and maintains Indiana and Federal Navigator certification and Indiana Application COunselor certification within 6 months of hiring. Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally to attend to daily work demands, meetings, workshops, and conferences.

DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

We are currently looking for a Data Management Specialist.

The Data Management Specialist oversees effective data management to support program planning, design and implementation. The Data Management Specialist assists the Head Start Director and the management team in the use of data to effectively: interpret community and program data, improve communication with necessary stakeholders; analyze and assess performance, risk and change management; improve decision-making ability to make modifications based on empirical data; and assists in plans for continuous improvements to the program as a whole.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; supplemented by at least 3 years relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Skilled in the use of computers for email, creation, and manipulation of databases, and Microsoft Office 365. Has experience with Data Analysis.
