Morgan County Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Morgan County Coordinator for our Morgan County office.

The Morgan County Coordinator handles the daily operations of the Morgan County office and the day-to-day activities of the programs administered by SCCAP. In addition, the County Coordinator conducts intakes to determine eligibility for SCCAP programs and provides outreach, referral, and advocacy to clients in their lives both personally and economically. The County Coordinator will interact with Morgan County community leaders and hold leadership roles within Morgan County as an advocate for the low-income community.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED with 1 to 2 years previous experience in Section 8, Energy Assistance, casework, counseling, social service, and/or related fields.

Growing Opportunities paid Intern

We are currently looking for a paid Intern for Growing Opportunities.

The Intern will work an average of fourteen (14) hours a week for twenty (20) weeks. The intern will be paid a monthly stipend of $560 at the end of each month for five months.

Requirements: The Intern will be required to obtain academic credit for the internship and be currently enrolled in college.

LEAD TEACHER

We are currently seeking a Lead Teacher for our Head Start program.

The Lead Teacher plans and implements weekly and ongoing developmentally appropriate plans for a group of infants to toddlers with individualized considerations for each child in a classroom setting. Additionally, this position acts as a resource, advisor, and advocate for the parents in the areas of child development, health, education, and community resources.

Requirements: Early Childhood Education Associate Degree, Early Childhood Education B.A./B.S. or a Bachelor’s or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education.
