Energy Assistance Program Supervisor

We are currently looking for an Energy Assistance Program Supervisor.

The Energy Assistance Program Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the efficient operation of all aspects of the Energy Assistance Program for SCCAP. This position is responsible for helping the low-income community with the high costs of home energy including giving guidance to families to help them lower their energy burden.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field plus 2 to 5 years relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

Assistant Family Services Coordinator

We are currently looking for an Assistant Family Services Coordinator.

The Assistant Family Services Coordinator is responsible for the assisting in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) and the Family Services Component of Head Start. This position assists in collaborating with the Health and Education Component to ensure the overall social emotional and emotional well-being of the children. This position also oversees the implantation and planning of the Family and Community Engagement Component.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Social Work, or related field plus 1 to 2 years relevant work related experience.

FAMILY ADVOCATE

We are currently looking for a Family Advocate.

The Family Advocate assists the Family Services staff with intakes, recruitment, attendance/food service record keeping, and to provide assistance to the Family Services Coordinator to insure that the component and program meet federal and local standards.

Weatherization Auditor

We are currently seeking a Weatherization Auditor.

The Weatherization Auditor is responsible for supervising the rehabilitation and weatherization of homes in low-income housing and being the quality control inspector of weatherization home projects. Ensures all clients and the work performed are in compliance with all Federal, State and Agency regulations and guidelines pertaining to weatherization program.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; supplemented by three to five years previous experience in carpentry, construction, contracting, home rehabilitation, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Working knowledge of natural gas, LP gas, fuel oil, and electric heating systems and of all codes applicable to HVAC system and installations.
