Holiday Assistance Program

SCCAP Head Start will be administering the Shop with a Firefighter holiday assistance program again this year! Families may apply for children 0-18 years of age. Current Head Start families may pick up applications from your child's classroom teacher or Family Advocate. Interested families may also pick up applications from our main office at Lindbergh or download the application by clicking here.

When submitting an application, please bring: State issued ID for each person in the household, proof of Monroe County residency, and proof of income for the last 30 days (this can include: pay stubs, bank statements, FSSA letters, TANF, child support, etc.). *Currently enrolled Head Start families do not need to bring in documentation*

Head Start will also accept applications from currently enrolled families for adopt-a-family programs as well. The same application and dates apply for both options.

Applications will be accepted from October 24 through October 31. All applications must be turned into the SCCAP Head Start office, located at: 1500 W. 15th St, no later than 5:30pm on October 31. No late applications will be accepted!

Families will be chosen and notified by November 16th if they are selected.SCCAP Head Start will also cross-reference chosen families with other agencies in town to ensure the most families as possible are chosen for holiday assistance. Families will only be eligible for services from one program.
