Head Start Now Enrolling for 2020-2021 School Year

Today, on Teacher Appreciation Day, we are excited to announce that we have received official word that our Lindbergh site passed their The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation process! This is one of highest levels of accreditation an early childhood education center can obtain. This accreditation was a very lengthy process and required many, many hours of time from our dedicated education team. In order to obtain the accreditation, programs are required to meet standards grouped into 10 areas: relationships with children, curriculum, teaching approaches, child assessment, nutrition and health, staff qualifications, relationship with children's families, relationship with the community, physical environment, and program leadership and management.

We are so proud of all of our Lindbergh teachers and staff! We would like to recognize them individually below according to the classroom they work with:
Lindbergh 1 - Miss Kristen Percak, Miss Ashley Mccammon, Miss Ashley Cox
Lindbergh 2 - Miss Beth Harris, Miss Debbie Medaris Day
Lindbergh 3 - Miss ShaKay Norris, Miss Elizabeth Tedrow; as well as Miss Erin Loughery and Miss Julia Adams
Lindbergh 4 - Miss Kimberly Vice Davis, Miss Carrie Platz, Miss Danielle Clarke

A huge shout of appreciation also goes out to our Lindbergh Site Coordinator Laura Creed Loffer, as well as the rest of our Education Management team!

The Lindbergh site has been up to so many exciting things this school year. They have been incredibly busy learning, playing, developing friendships, and getting ready for kindergarten. They have had many special visitors this school year, and have some wonderful parent involvement.
